Taking a Break - Zeldaby *pikminlink

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Props & Accessories

While I was out on my normal adventures I came across this area that looked like a nice place to take a break. I took a picture very similar to this around 2003-2004 so I wanted to update that with something even better.

All props are made by both my father and I. We both worked very hard on them and I also did all of the detail work.
Items in this picture - Master Sword & Sheath, Hylian Shield, Ocarina of Time.

Interesting facts about each item:
- Hylian shield is the oldest, built in early 2003
- Ocarina of time is the second oldest, built after in 2003
- Master Sword and Sheath are the second generation. The first set was built in 2003, but this Master Sword and sheath was built in 2005.
- Shield also attaches onto the sheath.

I will be remaking all of these except for the Master Sword and Sheath for my OoTLink remake in tribute of the OoT3Ds. Throughout the years I've been doing what I can to bring Link and his world of Hyrule to life. All items and locations are real that I scout out myself and set up to make the perfect image as much I could. These are the Ocarina of Time version of the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and the Ocarina of Time.

These props are absolutely gorgeous!

I have to ask though, are the sword and shield actually made of metal, and if so, what kind? I'm looking to get into this sort of thing in the future, and some advice for a rookie would be greatly appreciated!
